OBA PROGRAM

The OBA has collaborated with the Mental Health Commission of Canada to offer tailored training for law firm leaders in workplace mental health and wellness.  Each interactive, hands-on workshop can hold a maximum of 15 individuals and requires attendees to commit to attend both half day sessions.  At the end of this training, you will receive a Certificate of Completion, and practical tools to support your team’s mental health.

The Working Mind certificate program is an evidence-based training, developed to initiate a shift in the way you think, act, and feel about mental health in the workplace. It is specifically designed for Managing Partners, law firm leaders, General Counsel and managers in legal workplaces.  The virtual session offers leadership-specific content and focuses on helping leaders support their teams’ mental health, including gaining practical tools to support individual employees and to support your team’s mental health.

•    mental health and stigma
•    how to recognize and keep track of changes in your own mental heal and well-being
•    know when to take appropriate actions and have the appropriate conversations
•    the impacts of stress on mental health focused on coping and resilience strategies
