The President is the official spokesperson on behalf of the Ontario Bar Association’s 17,000 members. He/she represents the views and decisions of Council, the governing body of the association.

As the only legal organization representing lawyers from across every practice area (called Sections), our members can provide expertise and feedback on case law, practice areas, legislation or legal issues facing the profession and the public.
