The Photography Contest sees the Ontario Bar Association invite Ontario students between the ages of 12 and 18 to participate and show their creativity. Students are asked to create powerful photographic images, which in some way represent the core principles of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and this year’s Law Day theme. This competition is organized by the Ontario Bar Association and the Law Day Committee.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Who is eligible?
Ontario middle school and high school students between the ages of 12 and 18.

2008 Law Day Theme
(please check back here in the next weeks for the 2008 Law Day theme) 

Prizes
First, second and third place winners along with honourable mentions are invited to opening ceremonies to receive a congratulatory certificate and meet the chief justices of Ontario. All winners will also receive special Law Day prizes.

Winning photos will be displayed at opening ceremonies and at the Ontario Bar Association offices in downtown Toronto. Winners will be notified in late March 2008.
 
Entry format
Submit one black & white photo, one colour photo (please include negative) or one high resolution digital image sent to fconte@oba.org + include the following information:

1. Name, address, telephone number
2. Name of school, name of teacher
3. Title of photograph + brief description

Deadline
Entries must be received by Friday, April 4th, 2008. (Submissions will NOT be returned)
